Escape Guide: Kennebunkport, Maine

Kennebunkport is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway up to Vacationland, though there’s enough to do to last you an entire week (or more). Be sure to check out Federal Jack’s for a pint (or three) and charter a sunset sail on the Pineapple Ketch to discover why this town has been the longtime summer home for the Bush family. Though most popular in the summertime, it’s gorgeous to visit year-round. Roughly two hours north of Boston, and five hours north of New York City, this resort town in Southeastern Maine is worth the trip.
